How to check brake fluids?

After parking your vehicle on level ground, open the hood and locate the reservoir. Check that the fluid level is between the MIN and MAX marks. If the level is below the MIN mark, consult a qualified mechanic.

How to check transmission fluids and perform a transmission oil change?

You can only check your transmission fluid if your car has a transmission dipstick. Wipe the dipstick, reinsert it into the fluid, leave the stick for 5 seconds, then remove it and read the level. If necessary, add transmission fluid as recommended by your car manufacturer. You don't need to change transmission fluid as often as you need an oil change for cars.
