What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility is a set of rules and best practices covering functional, graphic, technical and editorial aspects.
Following these rules and best practices ensures that digital media (websites, mobile applications, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible to people with disabilities.
For example, an accessible site allows you to:
- Customize its display via the operating system and/or browser (enlarge or shrink characters, change typography, modify colors, stop animations, etc.).
- Navigate using assistive technologies such as text-to-speech or Braille.
- Navigate without using the mouse, using the keyboard only, switches or a touch screen.
- View video and audio content with subtitles and/or transcriptions.

TotalEnergies is committed to making its websites and applications accessible in accordance with article 47 of French law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.

- 10.5 - CSS declarations of background and font colors are not correctly used.
- 10.6 - Links whose nature is not obvious are not visible in relation to their surrounding text.
- 10.7 - The focus of interactive elements is not visible.
- 10.8 - Hidden content is not intended to be ignored by assistive technologies.
- 10.9 - Information is given only by shape, size or position.
- 10.11 - Content cannot be presented without horizontal scrolling in a 320px wide window.
- 11.1 - Form fields do not have labels.
- 11.2 - Form field labels are irrelevant.
- 11.5 - Fields of the same nature are not grouped together.
- 11.11 - Input controls are not accompanied by suggestions for error correction.
- 11.13 - The purpose of input fields cannot be deduced to facilitate their automatic filling with the user's data.
- 12.3 - The “Site map” page is not relevant.
- 12.8 - The tab order is not consistent.
- 13.3 - Downloadable office documents do not have an accessible version.
- 13.8 - Moving or flashing content is not controllable.
