LubAnac offers a specific service for the mining industry:
LubAnac developed onsite lab mining to cope with specific requirements of the mining industry.
Mining is an industrial activity in which breakdown of equipment is not permissible, as every minute of production breakdown leads to immense financial losses. Many mines use already one of the LubAnac services successfully in order to avoid these breakdowns and keep the equipment in top condition. As mines are often located in very remote areas, getting the oil samples from the mining site to one of the LubAnac centers can sometimes cause logistical issues.
LubAnac onsite lab mining is a service permitting to do locally on-site specific analysis in remote areas such as mining operations or other applications where the access to regular laboratories is difficult. It allows:
- reduction of logistic costs
- promotion of local activity with reduction of CO2
- reduced delays
- use of LubAnac diagnosis standards
- faster actions in function of the service conditions.
LubAnac onsite lab mining permits to measure specific properties with a compact, easy to handle, on-site available laboratory. A secured internet connection allows the analysis data from the on-site laboratory to be transferred to the LubAnac database. A scientific interpretation of the oil analysis results by LubAnac algorithms allows to make LubAnac diagnosis available to customers.
The laboratory equipment for LubAnac onsite lab mining needs to be validated by LubAnac in order to be used in connection with LubAnac’s quality standards. Check with your local TotalEnergies representative the laboratory equipment to be in conformity with our standards. LubAnac uses web-link technology for the data transfer from the laboratory equipment to the data servers.
Diagnosis for the monitoring of the evolution of the state of the machines and/or the lubricant during use will be sent automatically to the customer and remain available on our secured servers for further consultation. It allows customers in a very short time to determine the general current state of the equipment and the lubricant and to detect eventual pollution elements such as water and silicon (dust, sand, …). It allows to evaluate very quickly the condition of the used lubricants in function of a potential oil replacement, partial oil drain or topping up. It allows to determine a trend in the wear patterns and the remaining performance of the lubricants. In very specific cases, further analysis in a specialised laboratory can be necessary to further investigate the causes of deviating results and do an in-depth investigation and further analysis of the used oil.
LubAnac onsite lab mining allows to do a general check of the oil bath and gives an indication if the lubricant is adapted to the operating conditions, in line with the LubAnac experience over the years. The comments are generated automatically based upon the data of all equipment in the LubAnac database.
