Driving lubricants innovation: TotalEnergies Lubrifiants launches its new RobotQuartz campaign

Paris, January 11th, 2023 – TotalEnergies Lubrifiants is back with a new campaign featuring RobotQuartz. This mascot is used to represent the engine and shows the effects of Quartz lubricants on all types of engines.

An innovation-driven, new concept

Known in more than 80 countries, RobotQuartz gets a complete makeover in line with the most advanced vehicle technologies, especially electric. With this campaign, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants is differentiating itself in the lubricants market by placing innovation at the heart of its strategy.

Quartz EV Fluid by TotalEnergies

For 70 years, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants has been continuously innovating to offer Quartz lubricants adapted to all types of engines:  Quartz 9000 for thermal engines, Quartz Ineo Xtra for hybrid engines and more recently Quartz EV Fluid for electric engines.

TotalEnergies Lubrifiants was therefore a pioneer in 2019 by developing the first entire EV fluid range to meet the specific needs of electric vehicles: increasing power, improving safety and extending the life of engines and batteries. The Quartz EV Fluid range features a state-of-the-art technology called ‘Thermo-Control Augmented’ that : provides high-level resistance to prevent oxidation, protects against short circuits, and keeps the battery at an optimal temperature range.

Jean Parizot, Inland General Manager at TotalEnergies Lubrifiants, said:

“This fifth generation RobotQuartz illustrates TotalEnergies Lubrifiants’ innovation ability to meet the needs of all types of vehicles, even the most demanding. With the evolution of the robot, the film tells the story of innovation behind Quartz lubricants, through the lens of the automobile: from thermal to electric.”
