Objective: Adapt the thermal system without modifying the electrical, mechanical, and electronic architecture of thepowertrain.

Approach: Replacement of indirect cooling with an immersion solution compatible with the existing architecture.

Key results:

  • Cooling efficiency ×7 vs. indirect cooling.

  • 8% reduction in cost and 6% reduction in pack weight.

  • Enhanced safety: no fire and no thermal runaway propagation after > 7 hours of thermal exposure (demonstrationtests).

2) EV application — Renault Mégane E-Tech battery in immersive version​

Objective: Improve performance, efficiency, and safety in real-world conditions.

Approach: Switching the battery to immersion cooling.

Key results:

  • +5% energy density, –10% battery volume.

  • Charging time ÷2 (from 0 → 80% SOC).

  • Cooling system energy consumption ÷8.

3) Complete battery swapping ecosystem for electric scooters​

Objective: Develop a high-performance, safe immersion cooling-compatible submerged battery pack and chargingstation.

Approach: Joint design of pack + station (thermal, safety, charge cycle).

  • Ultra-fast charging: 80% SOC in < 23 min.

  • Controlled safety: no fire or propagation after cell failure (tests).
