TotalEnergies powers Aston Martin's excellence

TotalEnergies became “Energy Partner of Aston Martin” in May, 2016 and joined Aston Martin Racing as “Official Lubricant and Technical Partner”. Beside of the lubricant recommendation, Aston Martin is also recommending EXCELLIUM, a fuel that incorporates specific detergent additives to clean and maintain the essential components of the engine over time. It leads up to 99% less fouling in gasoline engines, fuel economy and longer service life. TotalEnergies as Aston Martin’s energy partner provides fuel for every car that leaves the Gaydon factory.

In December 2017, TotalEnergies and Aston Martin were proud to announce the renewal of their partnership up to June 2019.

TotalEnergies is also supporting Aston Martin Racing throughout the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), becoming the “Official Lubricant and Technical Partner” of Aston Martin Racing. With 45 years of R&D and experience in the area of motor racing, TotalEnergies has developed lubricants, greases, fluids and special additives of high quality and technical performance. For the first time outside of Formula 1, TotalEnergies is providing a mobile laboratory and technical support with a dedicated engineer present at each WEC race event.

Two years of working side by side in the FIA World Endurance Championship enabled Aston Martin Racing to win the GTE Pro 2016 and GTE AM 2017 drivers’ title, along with a prestigious victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2017 in the GTE Pro class.
