TOTAL SOUTH AFRICA STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH TOYOTA

In May this year, Total South Africa (TSA) extended an agreement with Toyota South Africa for the supply of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO) for a further five years.

Toyota is a leading global OEM with over 20% market share and more than 149 dealerships throughout South Africa. The collaboration between Total and JX Nippon, one of only three historical licensed partners of Toyota, began in 2003. TGMO products are now blended at the TSA plant in

Durban, under license from JX.

A Partner of Choice

Over the past 13 years, the TGMO business with Toyota has grown significantly, to over 6 million liters per year. TSA now supplies the full range of TGMO products to Toyota dealers in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana and also provides the Toyota Parts Distribution Center in Johannesburg with TGMO packs (5 liters and 500 milliliters).

In June, TSA became a title sponsor of the Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa team, sponsoring Toyota crosscountry and rally championship cars.

TSA also supplies Toyota with the latest technology lubricants for its racing cars. Business Manager
